INTRODUCING A 1969 CHEVROLET EL CAMINO
Special Order, Documented, California Classic Survivor
This is the opportunity you’ve been waiting for. Step into classic muscle car history with this all-original, special-order 1969 Chevrolet El Camino, a true California survivor with extensive documentation, including the original invoice from November 1968! This is a four-owner vehicle, cherished and garage-kept for decades, with a beautifully maintained factory-correct Azure Turquoise exterior and black interior with Malibu trim.
Under the hood, this El Camino packs a punch with its L48 350ci V8 engine producing 300 horsepower, paired with a Turbo 400 automatic transmission with a shift kit for a smooth yet exhilarating drive. The engine was balanced and blueprinted before purchase and has only 6,000 miles since the rebuild, ensuring excellent performance. Factory sway bars, power steering, power brakes, dual exhaust, and air conditioning (blower currently not working) make this El Camino both a comfortable cruiser and a serious performer.
The paint was refreshed after purchase and still shines beautifully, reflecting the meticulous care this car has received. The factory Rally wheels with center caps and trim rings complete the muscle car stance. Inside, the car remains very much original and well-kept with the exception of a tilt steering wheel and column added by the previous owner, and we’re including an AM/FM/cassette radio that was purchased but never installed.
This El Camino is rated #3 to #3+ condition—a functional, safe, and drivable classic that runs fantastic and is ready to be enjoyed. With 148,547 miles, this well-documented piece of Chevrolet history is a rare find, especially with its original California roots and special-order pedigree.
Rarely do documented, original California El Caminos with special-order status come up for sale. If you’re looking for a classic El Camino with history, originality, and muscle-car performance, this is the one! Don’t miss your chance to own a true American icon.

Does A/C happen to blow cold? Do all gauges work (looks like gas gauge is pegged)? Thanks
The blower switch doesn’t work so not sure if AC blows cold. The gas gauge has been a bit wonky of late like going past full as in the picture. But is in the normal position now as I just looked
Any interior pictures? Thanks
I will get some tomorrow for you
