Selling this unique Military Vehicle. A 1969 AM General M151A2 also called the MUTT ( Military Utility Tactical Truck ). The first generation 1/4 ton Vehicles fielded by the military were the MUTT. The new design replace the a frameĀ with a sem – trailing arm suspension. Other improvements included a deep dish steering wheel larger composite marker & tail lights electric windshield wipers & a more reliable mechanical fuel pump. The MUTT comes with a 141.5 cu/in 4 cyl engine 4 spd manual transmission 4×4 with front & rear PTO drives. It has a total weight of 2320 lbs. top speed of 66 m.p.h. travel range is 288 miles with the engine producing 71 h.p. @ 3800 r.p.m. this unit also comes with a 1/4 ton 2 wheel utility trailer manufactured by the Stevens Co. Does the engine run and when was the last time it ran.
Yes the engine runs perfectly. There is a video link above you can hear it running. It shifts perfectly, drives perfectly, starts right up and idles perfectly. It was last started and driven about a month ago when it was put away. It will need a service for whoever buyās it, oil, filters, plugs, etc.
