1968 Chevrolet Malibu. This striking red Malibu convertible was given a steady diet of proper care combined with mechanical and cosmetic upgrades by its local former owner.
Upgrades include a heavy duty aluminum radiator and cooling fan system, electronic ignition, Vintage Air and Heating system, rear sway bar, improved steering box ratio and an aluminized dual exhaust system.
The exterior was nicely refinished in Matador Red and has been accentuated with a cloth “Stayfast” convertible top, an upgraded “SS” hood and chrome “American Racing” wheels.
What was originally a standard red interior has been transformed by our staff into something much more in keeping with the needs of today’s buyer. A Dakota Digital analog dash cluster seamlessly replaces the stock cluster, the dash pad, steering wheel, kick panels, seat backs and upholstery have all been custom upholstered in luxurious Ultra Leather.
A hand built center console has been fabricated to compliment the interior design and incorporates the factory “Horseshoe” shifter, dual cup holders, USB ports and a removable i-Pad.

I am so sorry for the delayed response, we have been extremely busy…
The previous owner performed a complete front steering and suspension overhaul with in the last 18 months including front and rear shocks and complete dual exhaust system. He made the car safe and reliable for his family, the car is solid, tight and drives beautifully…it is an exceptional car in all respects.

What attention was given to suspension (shocks, frt. end components & etc.)? How does she ride on the road? With the overdrive transmission, what is the highway mpg?
