Take a gander at this stunningly restored 1968 Chevrolet Camaro RS tribute convertible! This beauty was restored in 2017 and has been garage kept since, and only driven on nice days.
We have photos of the restoration that go with the car. Starting with the exterior, the Rallye Green paint with a white convertible top really catches the eye. The best thing about that is that it’s the original paint color (J Code).
Larger Rally wheels give this Camaro a bit of a modern flair. Those wheels paired with front and rear spoilers, hideaway headlights, and the Rally Sport rear valance, gas cap, and emblems make this a real show-stopper.
Open the door and you will find white vinyl bucket seats, a center console, wood steering wheel, and the very popular tic-toc-tach. The interior is all new as part of the extensive restoration as well and looks great with Camaro embroidered floor mats.
Under the hood is a crate 350 CID V8 with a rumble through the dual exhaust that is pure muscle car! The engine is a JEGS crate engine with a mild cam and 4-barrel carburetor. Power steering and power front disc brakes with drilled and slotted rotors make this car easy to drive and enjoy.
There is just enough chrome under the hood to make you proud to show it off at car shows. The chrome air cleaner, chrome valve covers, and chrome alternator top off this clean engine compartment with a bit of flair. This Camaro is so clean, you could eat off the underside!
With only 1,200 miles since the restoration was completed, this Chevy muscle car needs nothing but a proud new owner. Other new parts during the restoration included: tires, wheels, convertible top, battery, alternator, ignition, voltage regulator, and much more.
The car also comes with the original steering wheel if the new owner prefers that look. Out of 235,147 Camaros built in 1968, only 16,927 were V8 convertibles like this one! Don’t miss out on this gorgeous Rallye Green first-generation Camaro convertible! They don’t come around very often!
