1966 Plymouth Fury III Convertible Awesome car with only 4326 of these produced in 1966. Can’t be many left and certainly none as nice as this example. See the statement from the previous owner, stating that he purchased the car from the original owner 38 years ago. So a two-owner car that’s 58 years old that has been pampered and loved on. See the vehicle inspection report, everything is in the OK column amazing, this thing needed virtually nothing in order to cause it to be salable.
Powered by the venerable 383 CI V-8, 4-barrel carburetor mated to a Chrysler Torque flight automatic transmission and this thing absolutely scoots. All kinds of equipment and in turnkey condition, even the factory radio is operational. There’s a snapshot of the previous owner’s representations as it relates to improvements made in June 2023.

There’s not a lot of info in the description of this car.
1) Is it all original or has it undergone any level of restoration. If yes, how much and when?
2) Are those wheels alloy wheels or hub caps?
3) Photo of the odometers shows 21k. Is that accurate lifetime miles?
4) Is the engine and transmission original and has either ever been rebuilt?
from the seller:
We got this Fury in its current condition with no type of previous records. The paint is base coat/clear coat so has been painted somewhere along the line and it is in really great condition. It has the factory wheels and cabs. Plymouth did not numbers match in 1966 but it is date coded from 06/16/1966 so it is period correct and possible original but we have no way of knowing for 100%. The title is mileage exempt due to age and with no other records we can only present what is on the odometer.
1) A few of the photos show rear quarter panel repair going on. Was that rust remediation? Was the rust completely removed and were there any other areas of rust?
2) All the pictures look exceptionally shiny. Interior, engine compartment, under carriage, etc. Is it really that clean or have pictures been enhanced?
from the seller:
There are no repairs going on the pictures, they magnets showing that it is all metal. Pictures have not been altered.
