This 1966 Ford Thunderbird Sport Roadster Tribute Convertible is a beautifully maintained example of classic American style and performance. While Ford did not officially produce a Sport Roadster in 1966, a Florida-based company manufactured a fiberglass tonneau cover that allowed buyers to create an authentic tribute—and this one does it exceptionally well.

Under the hood, it features a 390 CI V8 engine with a four-barrel carburetor, housed in a meticulously clean engine bay. It’s paired with a rebuilt C-6 automatic transmission with a column shifter, ensuring smooth shifts and reliability. With just 96,000 original miles, this Thunderbird remains in excellent mechanical condition.

Power steering, brakes, windows, and locks all function as they should, enhancing the driving experience. The black vinyl interior with bucket seats and a full-length console is in outstanding shape. The dash features a full gauge cluster, including the unique rolling speedometer that moves left to right as speed increases. The factory AM/FM radio remains intact, and the air conditioning has been converted to R134, working perfectly.
