The first-generation Dodge Charger (1966-1967) was Dodge’s attempt to create a larger, more upscale pony car using Chrysler’s B platform, shared with the Coronet. Positioned between traditional pony cars and personal luxury coupes like the Thunderbird, the Charger was Dodge’s response to the late-1960s fastback craze. With its distinctive styling and a range of powerful engines, the first-generation Charger cemented its status as a true muscle car legend.

This stunning 1966 Dodge Charger, available at our Shreveport, LA showroom, is a prime example of these iconic machines.
