titled as the 1971 VW platform it’s built on. Built in the 1980s, this stunning Speedster looks, runs, and drives as if it was just completed. Originally commissioned by a collector, the car was later passed down to his adult daughter, who has meticulously cared for it. Always stored in a covered, enclosed space and never abused, this Speedster remains in exceptional condition. Despite its racing-inspired appearance, it has never been used as a track car.

Built on a VW drivetrain and floor pan, it features minor performance upgrades while maintaining a tasteful and well-balanced construction. The road-racing decals add to its character but can be easily removed if desired, as they are vinyl. No docs to prove internals, but runs like has been upgraded internally. 1971 VW dual port engine, EMPI intakes, dual Solex carbs. Four speed transmission.

Fully equipped with a Hartz cloth folding Speedster top and a matching cloth zippered tonneau, both in like-new condition. The beautiful gray interior is complemented by a hidden audio system, completing this impressive package.

Though approximately 40 years old, this Speedster has been so well preserved that it still looks, runs, and drives like new. It’s ready for a new caretaker to enjoy!
