Mechanical Specs: Our T-Bird is powered by a 312 cubic inch Y-block V8 engine that was factory rated at 215 horsepower, which was the Thunderbird’s standard engine, which is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission.
Ours has what looks like an original engine compartment with all the factory correct hoses, clamps, accessories as well as the factory correct 4-barrel carb.
It has the dress up kit with the correct Thunderbird finned valve covers, air cleaner that gets fresh air through the fully functional hood scoop, factory cast iron exhaust headers, power steering and brakes.
The exhaust system is good and it rides on body-color steel wheels with factory chrome wheel covers that wear a set of white stripe tires that look great.
