Ford, along with its Mercury division, was the first of the “Big Three” to embrace the sleek new “envelope” body design, blending fenders and doors into a seamless, modern form.

This 1951 Mercury Eight Deluxe Six-Passenger Coupe is a stunning example of that era’s groundbreaking design. Under the sculpted hood sits a powerful 350 V8 crate engine equipped with a Holley carburetor, GMPP aluminum intake manifold, headers, an aluminum radiator, and HEI ignition. Performance upgrades include power rack-and-pinion steering, power front disc brakes, Vintage Air A/C, and a smooth 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive.
