This 1950 Ford Custom Country Squire Woody Wagon is a two-door “woody” station wagon and underwent a complete frame off restoration under prior ownership. The car is finished in dark maroon with wood paneling over a brown leather interior. Power is provided by a 239ci V8 paired with a 3 speed manual transmission with overdrive and additional equipment includes a rear mounted spare, cabin heater, dual mirrors, and body color steel wheels with trim rings. This Country Squire wagon is now offered on dealer consignment in California.
This Ford underwent a complete body off restoration under prior ownership. Details include a split windshield, body colored spare tire carrier, dual exhaust outlets, and sliding rear windows. Up close photos of exterior blemishes are provided in the gallery.
Body color 15″ steel wheels wear chrome Ford branded hubcaps with chrome trim rings and are mounted with whitewall tires. Stopping power is provided by four wheel drum brakes.
The refurbished cabin houses two rows of seating that have been finished in saddle brown leather with tan carpeting throughout. Additional details include a push button AM Radio, a Magic Air Heater, in dash clock, as well as wood door and rear side panels.
A red two spoke steering wheel frames a 100mph speedometer surrounded by auxiliary displays. The five digit odometer indicates 12k miles.
The 239ci flathead V8 is topped with two two-barrel carburetors. The generator has been replaced with an alternator and the car has a 12 volt electrical system.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a column shifted three speed manual transmission, and the selling dealer notes the overdrive does not currently work.
