STUDEBAKER RAT ROD PICKUP, 350 V8, AUTO, PWR DISC 4 CORNERS, WICKED PIPE EXHAUST, FUN!!
This 1947 Studebaker Pickup Rat Rod has its own version of cool. THIS IS NOT A PROJECT!!! DRIVE IT ANYWHERE! The stance and the V8 growl out of those side pipes are instant indicators that this is not your dad’s truck. And as you dig deeper into the details, this flat black custom even has surprising upgrades, like power windows, radar, upgraded gauges and an overdrive transmission.
Matte black always sets the tone right for a mean machine. This is a truly lowered truck where the body is channeled over the frame and inches were chopped out of the cab roof to give it a ground-hugging profile. Everything about this truck is about balancing a robust rat rod look with plenty of added style touches. Up front, the elimination of the fenders and hood give you a sneak peek at beefy components, like the suspension, 4 wheel disc brakes and V8 power.
But there’s also the deeply dipping grille and torpedo-style headlights borrowed from earlier classics. In the rear, there’s a metal cover in the ford truck bed. But people may not notice it, because they are too busy ogling at those big custom exhaust pipes.
Open the door, and the full rat rod experience continues. There is a set of very nice bucket seats. Sitting low in the seats and grabbing the Hurst Shifter will instantly make you feel like the Rat Fink. That’s why this will always make a very charismatic first impression.
But once again, take a moment to look at the details to find the really cool stuff. The Aluminum Fowfire Intake, Edelbrock / 406 Carb Electric Choke, Hei Ignition, BeCool Radiator, is quite a thoughtful upgrade.
This is a rat rod, but it’s got so much custom work that it’s also a RAD rod. So you know you’ve already fallen in love/lust this build’s attitude, especially since it’s at such a nice price.

Thank you so much ACC for sharing my contacts and for the personnel e-mai response!
So I’ve been looking for my ride for over a year. ACC was kind enough to share personal contact info on the last vehicle I was looking at as I know little about cars. Perhaps they’ll do that again. Non the less I assume it has no A/C. Any leaks of fluids, do all ganges function properly, wipers operable, belts in good shape, and are fluids including fuel tank clean? Thanks in advance for your help.
