Rear of chassis built to allow room for a sliding 9-foot ramp that carries a streamlined 1955 R69 BMW motorcycle. Ramp slides in and out the back door with the touch of another button. Chief designer of the 2005 Ford Mustang, Larry Erickson who also designed ZZ Top’s “Cadzzilla”designed the streamlined motorcycle that tucks inside the car. The 750 cc bike engine has been bored and rebuilt, along with the transmission, by famed BMW airhead legend David Woodburn of Barnsley Motor Works in Roopsville, GA.
The full custom aluminum body and bike was built by gifted panel beater Kyle Yocum of Yocum’s Signature Hot Rods in Sunbury, NC. Body was left in bare metal so people could admire Kyle’s fine metalwork. Headlight on bike is ’39 Ford, matching those on the car, just as taillights on the car and bike are both ’41 Hudson lenses.
Car and bike have been exhibited at NSRA Nationals, SEMA Show and Lowrider Magazine Show Las Vegas, among others, where it received many comments like “This is the best Car in the show”.
