Is there A/C?
sorry but this car was just sold
Is there any reason to believe the actual mileage is other than what the odometer says & can you send more photos. How would you rate the condition of the wire wheels & tires? Is there anything important that needs to be done that photos don’t show? Do you have photos of the under carriage? Thanks
What would shipping to 13502 cost?
$1200 enclosed
I am trying to get a reading on this vehicle! Before I make a bid, I need to know what model year is this T’Bird! If I should get the winning bid (as it is advertised) and it’s VIN does not prove it to be a 1960 model, do I get the car AND my bid-money back?
Yes that is correct, if you can show that the car was purchased under false pretenses you are not obligated to follow through on your purchase and your buyer’s fee is refunded.
If you do a google search for this VIN- 0Y71Y137196 you will find that this vehicle was sold at RM auctions as a 1960 as well. Also if you search the vin at https://www.hagerty.com/apps/valuationtools/search/vin with their online price tool it comes up as a 1960. We believe you are safe to assume this is indeed a 1960 Thunderbird.
OK, I did my research; and I found that the VIN does belong to a 1960 T’Bird. However (comma), I also discovered a disclaimer(?) that an owner “extensively altered” the car to appear as a 1959 model! Can you help me understand some rational for that alteration? Make it appear as a ‘59 in order to market it as a ‘60?
Is this beautiful car being offered as a 1960 model? Why do I ask? Look at the grill and the trim.
