Ok guys, I’m doing this and will regret it later, right? 1966 c10 custom. Short bed fleetside. 1968 327 with 350 heads. Engine is awesome. Runs 160 to 180 degrees. Be cool fan and shroud. Champion 4 row radiator. Billet specialties black powder coat front runner. New eldebrock avs carb. New eldebrock intake. New eldebrock fuel pump. New hei distributor. New plug wires. Pml black powder coat valve covers.
Truck had factory air that worked before the swap. HAVE NOT hooked up to new compressor yet. Have not decided what direction to take yet. I’m setting the reserve lower so New owner can decide how they want to proceed. If I end up doing myself before it sells, the price will go way up.. all the parts I removed from swap go with the sale. Compressor, pulleys, brackets. Evaporator, dryer and lines are still on truck. Engine will get you anywhere your headed with no issues.
Inside is setup stock. Floors excellent. Vacuum gauge off a larger truck. Rpm guage. Both work. All guages and switches work. New under dash wiring with new fuse box. Few usual scratches here and there. Speedometer dead on. Seat excellent. Covered at all times. Lights, cigarette lighter, gas tank, glove box, all excellent. Floor mat excellent. Drive train excellent. New front end. Drives like a new 66. Brakes excellent. Duel exhaust excellent. Tires excellent.
Outside appearance is stock. Stock height. New shocks. Body very nice. Show truck thats driven. Good guys winner several years back. Few usual chips. Passenger door shuts with 1 finger. Driver side takes a bit more to close. Driver push button handle starting to get a catch. Few bubbles on each side at lower door areas, see pics. Where there when I bought truck about 10 years ago. Have not gotten any worse. Overall a very nice 66. If you could see and drive, you would buy it. Hope this helps inform you, so you will feel better about bidding.
