*UPDATE 8/13* New photos added to the end of the gallery showing the brand new convertible boot and proper door lock knobs!!
This beautiful Mustang has been in the careful hands of the same family for more than 35 years and has recently been through a comprehensive mechanical and cosmetic restoration. This factory “A” code 289 V8 4BBL has been completely rebuilt here in our facility and is mated to a 3-speed automatic transmission. The steering, suspension, braking, electrical and cooling systems have also been thoroughly gone through.
Options include the desirable “Pony Interior” package, aptly named because of the running horses featured on the deluxe seat covers along with special door panels, door panel courtesy lamps, wood steering wheel and wood grained dash trim. “GT” options were added to this car during its restoration and include the “Rally Pac” tachometer-clock feature. “Trumpet” exhaust tips which exit through the rear valence panel, GT side striping, GT badging and grill mounted fog lamps. This exceptional car has spent most if not all of its life here in Texas which can be credited for its solid structure and overall excellent presentation you see here today.

1965 models with the deluxe “Pony” interior use the 5 gauge cluster with woodgrain insert and a slightly different glovebox door. The non-woodgrain 5 gauge cluster became standard on all 1966 models.
Ahhhh!!! Thanks for clarification! Did not know that!
Looks like a ‘66 Mustang dash cluster, no?
