1937 Plymouth 2-door sedan. Fully restored from frame up with six-cylinder flat-head, six-volt system, 3-speed stick floor shift. Exterior – black lacquer with original white pin-stripe restored; white-walls w/original hub caps. Interior is beige tuck & roll style as per original. Color-matched lap belts added. Recent work includes all new brake system – master & wheel cylinders & lines replaced; transmission rebuilt w/ new bearings – runs quite as a mouse; all drive train seals replaced; new clutch assembly. Head lamps upgraded while retaining original look, so car can be driven safely at night. All original gauges – no new add-ons under the dash. 1937 NOS Cats Eye fog lamps and turn signal.Original advertisements for car included. Original Philco radio intact, but not restored. Historically-correct FDR license plate topper. A nice family driver. Seller is the third owner. Purchased from original owner’s nephew who restored the car. Car show trophies included. are 2nd and 3rd gears sycromesh in that vintage ? and do you know if the exhaust valves and seats have been hardened for unleaded gas ?

Yes, the transmission has synchromesh….and was recently rebuilt — new bearings, seals, etc.
Don’t know about hardening valves, etc.
The head was pulled about three years ago to address a heating issue. Valves were ground. There was no apparent issue with unleaded gas. Regular works fine, though I put an additive in the tank because modern gasoline can damage the neoprene hoses in the gas line over time.
