I am offering my 1965 Pontiac GTO restomod for sale. I purchased it in May of 2009 and commissioned a frame off restoration that began in January 2010 and completed in May of 2012. Since completion the car has been meticulously maintained and documented. This car is a multiple award winner and has been featured in a magazine and newspaper article. 4,900 miles since completion.
250 photos below! Showing the build and every important angle
All the original metal body panels were restored, and the entire car was repainted in a custom blue metallic. The graphics were painted using steel blue metallic and electric red paint. The paint scheme was by John Gable, a former designer in the Pontiac Concept Car Division in the mid 1960’s. The hood scoop was made functional unlike from the factory. The firewall was smoothed and painted body color along with entire engine bay. The original chrome was re-chromed and the original metal trim was polished.
