1975 Mercury Comet Pro Touring — a fully custom, one-of-a-kind build with over $75,000 invested. This car was completely disassembled and restored from the ground up. The body was taken to bare metal and meticulously block-sanded and panel-aligned for a laser-straight finish. It wears a high-quality, two-stage PPG non-metallic yellow paint with deep clear, color-sanded and polished to show quality. All door jambs are finished to match, and the chrome has been re-plated. Glass, rubber seals, and trim were all replaced during the build.

It sits on 18-inch billet wheels wrapped in new Goodyear tires and is equipped with 4-wheel Wilwood disc brakes. The frame has been boxed, and upgraded sway bars with polyurethane bushings were added for handling.

Power comes from an Apex 4.9L 3-valve Ford V8 producing 480 horsepower to the rear wheels, mated to a Mustang 5-speed manual transmission. It features a dual exhaust system with Cook’s long tube headers and a larger master cylinder with power booster for excellent braking.

The suspension features coilovers and a Heidts front end for a smooth, tight, and balanced ride. The interior is fully redone with new components throughout, including Vintage Air A/C and heat, and an upgraded stereo system. The engine bay is detailed, and the car runs cool and performs like a modern pro touring machine. A standout build in every way.
