This 1941 Cadillac Series 62 Convertible Coupe is a well-preserved example of a true classic. Finished in dark blue over a brown leather interior with a tan manual convertible top, this elegant cruiser is powered by the 346 CI Monobloc Flathead V8 paired with a three-speed manual transmission. Retaining its original six-volt electrical system, this Cadillac has been well cared for and remains in very nice overall condition.

Originally purchased at Hershey about seven years ago, this car underwent an earlier restoration that still presents well today. The engine was rebuilt prior to purchase, and the repaint still shines beautifully. The body panels are solid, appear original, and align properly. Chrome, trim, and badging are intact and in good overall condition, with only minor pitting on the bumpers. The undercarriage is clean and solid, further reflecting its careful maintenance.

Inside, the brown leather interior is in excellent condition, complemented by a walnut dash and beautifully detailed instrumentation. Cadillac’s 1941 Series 62 marked a major shift in design, introducing a sleek, modern look by Harley Earl and his team. With its pontoon-style fenders, broad-shouldered body, and flowing lines, the Series 62 was a defining design of the era, often compared to other groundbreaking American automobiles like the Cord 810 and Duesenberg J.

This example is one of just 3,100 convertible coupes (Style 6267D) produced in 1941, making it a highly desirable collector’s piece. Its combination of elegant proportions and fresh front-end styling gives it one of the most striking appearances of the early 1940s. Beyond its looks, the Series 62 is also among the best-driving cars of its time, featuring a powerful V8, three-speed manual transmission, and independent front suspension.

The car has been sparingly driven since its purchase but starts, runs, and drives well. It rides on wide whitewall bias-ply tires mounted on factory steel wheels with Cadillac wheel covers. Some minor issues remain, including an intermittently working speedometer, non-functional odometer, wipers, clock, radio, power antenna, and heating system. The convertible top, though older and showing some staining, remains in very good condition with no rips or tears, and the mechanism functions properly.

Included with the car are a clean title in the owner’s name, electrical diagrams, a convertible boot, and a car cover. This Cadillac is a beautiful example of a true pre-war classic, offering timeless style and a wonderful driving experience.
