This 1959 Lincoln Mark IV Continental Convertible is a rare and elegant luxury car, loaded with premium features and a striking presence. With only 2,195 produced, this stunning example represents a unique piece of automotive history.
Lincoln’s Continental nameplate originally debuted in 1940, inspired by Edsel Ford’s custom 1939 Convertible Coupe. After a brief disappearance in 1949, it returned in 1956 as the standalone Continental Mark II before being reabsorbed into the Lincoln lineup in 1958. The 1959 Mark IV brought refined updates, including a criss-cross grille pattern, a cleaner side profile, and an upgraded taillight design with four distinct lights.
Under the hood, this Mark IV is powered by a 430 cubic inch V8 engine with a four-barrel carburetor, producing an impressive 350 horsepower. Paired with an automatic transmission, it offers a smooth and effortless driving experience. A dual exhaust system enhances its throaty sound, adding to its commanding road presence.
True to its luxury status, this Continental is equipped with power steering for easy maneuverability, power brakes for confident stopping, and a power-operated black vinyl convertible top that functions flawlessly at the push of a button. Wide whitewall tires with Turbine-style full wheel covers complete its classic look. The exterior has been correctly refinished in Presidential Black, accentuated by gleaming chrome and brightwork that enhance its timeless elegance.
Inside, the two-tone White and Black vinyl bench seats have been beautifully reupholstered, creating a stylish and comfortable cabin. All five power windows, including the rear glass window, function smoothly and can be locked with the child safety switch. The front seat is 4-way power adjustable, and additional luxury features include adjustable chrome mirrors, auto-dimming headlights, and factory-installed air conditioning. The padded dash, black carpeting, and original-style steering wheel all remain in excellent condition. The dash houses a 120 MPH speedometer, ammeter, temperature and fuel gauges, Travel Tuner AM radio, clock, and climate controls, with an optional factory FM radio mounted beneath.
Whether you’re looking for a standout cruiser or a rare collectible, this 1959 Lincoln Mark IV Continental Convertible is a fantastic addition to any classic car collection.

LOVE THIS MODEL CAR! i went to your site looking for better pictures, and a road worthy video. nothing from inside of trunk, door jambs, rubber condition, does anything work on the dash? blinkers, lights ect. zoom is to blurry on top side photos except for under the car. but that says a lot right there. Your video not much there. maybe I’m wrong here, or maybe that’s what I’m supposed to just see?
we will try to get some additional photos for you from the seller.
