The term ‘legendary’ is often thrown around, but when it comes to the 1969 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, no other word fits better. This ultra-rare muscle car boasts the most powerful Chevrolet engine of its time, featuring an all-aluminum block that set it apart. With fewer than 70 ever built, the ZL1 remains Chevrolet’s rarest production car and one of the most revered muscle cars in history.
Born from the success of Jim Hall’s Chaparral/Chevrolet aluminum big blocks in Can-Am racing, the ZL1 was the brainchild of Chevrolet dealer Fred Gibb, designed to dominate NHRA Pro Stock drag racing. Though it came with a hefty price tag, the ZL1 (COPO 9560) instantly became a legend, a status it holds to this day.
Our stunning Le Mans Blue (71) 1969 Camaro is a powerful tribute to these icons. Under the correct ZL-2 cold air induction hood sits one of only 427 GMPP Anniversary Edition 427ci all-aluminum engines ever produced. Built using original tooling, this powerhouse features a forged steel crankshaft, forged steel rods, forged aluminum pistons, a high-lift hydraulic roller cam, and aluminum heads with massive 2.19/1.88 intake/exhaust valves.
This tribute is loaded with performance and comfort, including power steering, power front disc brakes, Vintage Air A/C, a Tremec 5-speed manual transmission, a tilt steering column, Rally wheels, and an AM/FM stereo. The correct Ivory and Black interior (727) adds to the authenticity. Documentation includes two detailed photo journals of its rotisserie restoration and extensive dynamometer sheets showing a tuned output of 488 hp and 503 lb-ft of torque.
A true head-turner at a fraction of the cost of an original—one of the genuine 69 ZL1s sold for $1.1 million at auction! This top-tier tribute delivers an unforgettable driving experience without breaking the bank.

Could you provide seveal pics of the entire undercarraige and a demonstrate a “cold start” video? It appeared that the car had been previously started and warm prior to your posted video. Additionally, you didn’t show the underneath dash gauges long enough, and are were blurry when you freeze the video. Does every system work as intented? What are the date codes on all 4 tires?
There are 11 or so photos of the undercarriage in the photo gallery now.
