One owner for 53 years, a beautiful 1970 Chevrolet Camaro Z-28 with believed to be 21,074 original miles. Less than 1500 miles since the restoration in 2010. Includes all documentation from the day a $20 deposit was taken in March of 1970.

Includes the following documentation: Protect-O- Plate, Broadcast sheet, original window sticker, owners manual, original bill of sale, sales tax receipt for the state of PA, and other items that are pictured all in the original owners name. The original OK key ring from Chevrolet. Purchased at the Dick Barone Chevrolet on Baltimore Pike in Springfield PA.

The Z-28 had been in storage since 2010 when the original owner finally had the funds to restore the vehicle and this included has 2 Stage Urethane paint in the original Camaro Gold w/Black stripes (stripes are under the clear) with sandlewood standard interior. The paint on this car is flawless, all of the body panels, floors, inner fender wells and exterior sheet metal are original, as well as the emblems. The bumpers front and rear are original to the car but have been re-chromed. The passengers side mirror was added during restoration.

The CTB suffix code 350 cu. in / 360 Horsepower small block V-8 LT-1 and still retains all the original emissions equipment including the smog pump, a point type ignition, 11: 1 compression pistons, solid lifters and the original Holley 750 cfm Carburetor with the Winters intake, and a completely new factory style exhaust system.

M-21 close ratio 4-speed uses the factory Hurst shifter, and the 12- bolt rear differential holds 3.73:1 gear ratio. This was the last year for the high horse power (360hp), 12-Bolt differential and 11:1 compression.

The interior is 90% original the radio and rugs have been upgraded. The radio is a period looking AM/FM Sirius Radio. The seats front and rear are original and perfect no rips or tears in the seams. The headliner is perfect along with the console and dashboard all of the gauges function properly including the clock. All interior lights work except the fasten seat belt light. Reverse lock-out works perfect.

The 5 spoke wheels are in excellent condition the trim rings and center caps may have been replaced but are in excellent condition. They do have 5/8 valve stem hole that was production for an April build car but could not find any date codes. Only GM Stamp and a letter C. The date code may be on the portion of where the tire is on the rim but they are period correct for the vehicle in argent grey.

The mileage on this vehicle is believed to be original at 21k. When the original owner moved from PA to MD in 1979 it had 3,489 miles as you can see from the MD title issued in 1979. Some may say why was the vehicle repainted? The laquer paint in 1970 was terrible and did not hold up well especially in PA and I do not know if the vehicle was garaged. The original owner passed away in 6/2023 and his daughter took possession of the vehicle upon his passing. The undercarriage is in excellent condition unfortunately the red oxide was covered but you can still see signs of the oxide in some of the pics at different places on the vehicle. The frame and undercarriage is in excellent condition no rot at all just some minor surface rust if any.

I have the black front spoiler and all of the brackets to place on the front of the vehicle, this was a dealer installed option in 1970 and was not available as a factory installed option until later production years (1971). I also have a period correct radiator shroud that is not stamped “caution fan” that will come with the car.

Driving this vehicle takes you back in time and it runs and shifts excellent, upon cold starts pump the gas pedal 5-6 time starts with automatic choke, pump the gas once and she idles down to 1k rpm. The only change I would make to this vehicle is placing the F60X15 white lettered original tires from Coker Tire on this vehicle. Currently running on BF Goodrich 215/60/15 tires. The oil/filter was changed in April with high Zink content oil for solid lifter motors. This Camaro is a very well documented vehicle as you can see from paperwork saved along its 53-year journey with the same owner.
